Moxlow Thrilled about Return to Sebring International Raceway
Grosse Ile, Michigan (12 March 2014) — Dane Moxlow is ready to take to the track again to drive the #11 Trenton Forging/Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i ST car in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) series at the Sebring International Raceway this weekend. Joined by his teammate, Lee Carpentier, the duo was in Sebring two weeks ago for the official series test. They used the opportunity to sort out some small issues that they would have had to sort out during the race weekend, giving them a head start and an edge. Moxlow Finishes 15th in Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Debut in Daytona
Grosse Ile, Michigan (27 January 2014) — Dane Moxlow and Lee Carpentier teamed up to debut the #11 Trenton Forging/Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i ST car in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) series last Friday at the historic Daytona International Speedway. Moxlow took to the track and qualified 27th after fighting handling issues in critical areas of the track. When the green flag dropped Moxlow maneuvered his way forward from 27th to 20th before handing the car over to Carpentier. The pit stop and driver change went flawlessly despite the crew and drivers performing it as a team for the first time in real competition. Carpentier grabbed another couple of spots to secure their 15th place finish, setting them up for a chance at the coveted season-long Drivers Championship. Read more…
Moxlow Signs with Mitchum Motorsports for 2014 ST Season
Grosse Ile, Michigan (17 January 2014)— Dane Moxlow and Lee Carpentier will team up to drive the #11 Trenton Forging/Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i ST car in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) series for the 2014 season. While both drivers are new to the series, they are far from strangers to racing. Moxlow joins the CTSCC from the Pirelli World Challenge GTS class where he saw a season high finish of 7th at the Detroit Grand Prix and from the Trans Am TA3 class where he broke a TA3 track record and earned his first professional podium finish. Carpentier’s racing experience comes from a variety of racing series, including the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series, which he took to the podium in 75% of the races in 2013. Read more…
Moxlow Earns Pole, Breaks Track Record, and Produces First Professional Podium During Trans Am Debut
Lexington, Ohio (21 August 2013)— Dane Moxlow, pilot of the #20 Trenton Forging/ Cardinal Energy Group/Huntington Bank Ford Mustang Boss 302s, made his Trans Am debut in the TA3 class for Round 6 of the Trans Am Championship last weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. And quite a debut it was! Moxlow earned the pole during qualifying and broke a TA3 track record, starting the weekend out on a positive note that was long overdue for the Autosport Development team. Moxlow Sees Highs and Lows at Detroit Grand Prix
Detroit, Michigan (5 June 2013)— Dane Moxlow, pilot of the #7 Trenton Forging/Eaton Steel/Cardinal Energy Group/Huntington Bank Ford Mustang Boss 302s, saw both highs and lows at the Detroit Grand Prix last weekend, finishing 7th on Saturday and being punted into the tires on Sunday after a season-high 5th in qualifying. According to Moxlow, the car’s setup was the best that it has ever been during the practice sessions and qualifying. Moxlow Earns 7th at COTA Despite Balance of Performance
Austin, Texas (20 May 2013)— Dane Moxlow, pilot of the #7 Trenton Forging/CP Carrillo/Cardinal Energy Group/Huntington Bank Ford Mustang Boss 302s, finished 13th and 7th in rounds 4 and 5 of the Pirelli World Challenge at the brand new Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas last weekend. The weekend had its ups and downs when it came to the performance of the Mustang, and Moxlow and the crew tried several adjustments throughout the week to make it more competitive. The Dane Moxlow Racing team has been at a significant disadvantage with their platform for quite a while, but this weekend they made leaps and bounds towards redevelopment of the Mustang setup to compete with the rest of the manufacturers in the series. The team felt that they started to head in the right direction during this event in regard to the setup, but Saturday they may have gambled a bit too much. Read more…

Moxlow Finishes 13th in Streets of Long Beach Despite Mechanical Issues
Long Beach, California (21 April 2013)— Dane Moxlow, pilot of the #7 Trenton Forging/CP Carrillo/Huntington Bank/Bard’s Beer Ford Mustang Boss 302s, finished 13th in round three of the Pirelli World Challenge GTS series today despite multiple mechanical issues. After two difficult practice sessions due to red and yellow flags limiting seat time on the technical street course, Moxlow entered the early-morning qualifying session with hopes of a clean flyer lap to position him for success during the race later in the day. Unfortunately, an ABS issue, dreaded by drivers, known as a high and hard pedal caused the front end of the #7 Mustang to pile into the tires in turn 1. Read more…

Moxlow ‘Hits a Wall’ During Season Opener on the Streets of St. Petersburg
Grosse Ile, Michigan (27 March 2013)—Dane Moxlow piloted the Autosport Development #7 Trenton Forging/Eaton Steel/Cardinal Energy Group/Huntington Bank Ford Mustang Boss 302s this past weekend for rounds 1 and 2 of the Pirelli World Challenge GTS series on the Streets of St. Petersburg. “The practice sessions were going really well. The car felt great and I was familiarizing myself with the track because I had never driven it before. During qualifying we made last minute change in the pits and took eight tenths off our lap time, so going into the first race I felt confident and ready in both the car and myself,” said Moxlow. Moxlow Joins IndyCar Drivers at 2013 NAIAS to Promote Detroit Grand Prix
Detroit, Michigan (31 January 2012)—Dane Moxlow was invited to appear at the 2013 North American International Auto Show last Friday at Cobo Hall in Detroit to promote the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. He joined IndyCar’s Helio Castroneves, Will Power, and Simona de Silvestro on January 25th at the WXYZ Channel 7 display on the main show floor to meet with the media, sign autographs, and talk some DetroitGP during a panel discussion. Steeda Supports Get Your Heart Racing Event
The 2nd Annual Henry Ford Hospital Get Your Heart Racing event was once again a huge success – generating hundreds of thousands of dollars for the hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute. This event is held annually on the grounds of the super-secret Ford Motor Company Dearborn Proving Grounds, provides contributors the opportunity to drive on various track and surfaces, courses, as well as to experience hot laps with professional drivers in a variety of cars. This year, Steeda Autosports provided various performance parts that were on the one-of-one cars made for the event including the 2013 GT500 auction vehicle and the 2013 Ford Focus that was a door prize at the event.
Additionally, Steeda sponsored driver Dane Moxlow brought his Trenton Forging Boss 302s race car to the event and provided exciting hot laps around the Ford Handling Course. Equipped with a passenger racing seat and a six-point harness, attendees were able to experience first hand what it is like to be driven around the track at racing speeds – effectively getting their hearts racing !
We want to thank Dane Moxlow, Trenton Forging and their entire race team for supporting the Henry Ford Hospital with this remarkable charity event. Plans are underway for the 3rd annual event next year – look for future updates from us about this exciting event next year.
