Moxlow Thrilled about Return to Sebring International Raceway
Grosse Ile, Michigan (12 March 2014) — Dane Moxlow is ready to take to the track again to drive the #11 Trenton Forging/Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i ST car in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) series at the Sebring International Raceway this weekend. Joined by his teammate, Lee Carpentier, the duo was in Sebring two weeks ago for the official series test. They used the opportunity to sort out some small issues that they would have had to sort out during the race weekend, giving them a head start and an edge. Now they are concentrating on making it go fast and gaining position.
“The test weekend was a good refresher and I am excited for the race. Sebring is inherently brutal, a fast lap is a violent experience, and I think it will be a tough race because of the surface conditions and competitive track,” said Moxlow. He achieved his first career win at Sebring in the Skip Barber series and it is evident that he is thrilled to be back.
“I think we will be in a good position this weekend to get it sorted out and to make a run for points and the overall championship. We are not just here for short-‐term results. As long as we can finish and finish in a good position we will be ahead of the game,” Moxlow added.
The green flag will drop at 1:00 p.m. on March 14th at the Sebring International Raceway. Get in on the real-‐time action at www.IMSA.com or tune into the delayed broadcast on March 19th at 1:00 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
